About the event
The 2ND Annual Paddleboard Race is scheduled for an 8:00 AM start - Capitola Main Beach west-end. This is a fun, family friendly open class (any length board) prone and SUP paddleboard race. The two-mile out and back course parallels the Capitola cliffs, making this a fantastic venue for paddlers and spectators. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female prone and SUP finishers.
By popular request, the Prone Paddleboard Sprints has been added to the venue. The sprint is a water-start, 150 yard - one buoy turn and back to the beach. Awards will be presented to the top male and female in all four age divisions.
